Imperial, a Villa Center is seeking a Registered Dietician to join our care team. You will plan patient meals according to care plans, provide dietary counseling, and document intake while collaborating with nursing, medical and social services staff.

Responsibilities include ensuring proper food handling, contributing to menu development, and maintaining charting requirements in a long-term care environment.

Qualifications

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Keeps current in clinical nutrition and dietetics, food system management, and regulations.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Active listening when interacting with patients/residents.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Basic computer knowledge and aptitude to learn company applications.

Responsabilités

• Provide nutritional meals per patient/resident care plan and document intake.
• Plan patient meals and coordinate with care team.
• Collaborate with nursing, medical, social services and other staff.
• Assist kitchen with menu development and substitutions.
• Maintain food safety and temperature logs.
• Ensure care plans and charting requirements are followed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
