Job summary

Brookside Care Center in Stockton, CA is seeking a Dietitian to plan, organize, direct, and improve the Food Services Department. You will supervise daily operations to ensure safe, nutritious meals and compliance with federal, state, and local standards. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Dietetics from an accredited college or university.
• Minimum 1 year of hospital or nursing facility experience.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, organize, implement, evaluate, and direct the Food Services Department.
• Review policies, procedure manuals, job descriptions, etc., at least annually for revisions; make recommendations to the Administrator.
• Review and develop a plan of correction for any food service deficiencies noted during state/federal surveys and provide a written copy to the Administrator.
• Assist the Quality Assessment and Assurance Committee in developing and implementing plans of action to correct deficiencies.
• Perform regular inspections of dietary service areas for sanitation, order, safety, and proper performance of assigned duties.
