Job Summary

Seeking a Clinical Dietitian (Hourly-PRN) to join our Nutrition Team at UConn Health, Farmington, CT. Availability needed 24-40 hrs/week during May-September, then on a PRN basis afterward.

Key Responsibilities

1. Provide medical nutrition therapy including assessment, diet modification, education, and intervention.
2. Follow all guidelines in the Company Diet Manual and Nutrition Policies & Procedures Manual.
3. Comply with regulatory standards, confidentiality, HIPAA, and patient rights policies.
4. Train and mentor staff and interns as applicable.
5. Participate in patient satisfaction, departmental meetings, and QA/PI programs.

Qualifications

1. Registered Dietitian credential from CDR.
2. State licensure where required.
3. Preferred: 1 year hospital experience.
4. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, EMR, diet systems, and nutrient analysis software.
