Job summary

Required qualifications include a BS in Nutrition or Dietetics, Washington Dietitian Certification within 180 days, National CDR RD, and at least one year of hospital or home care experience. Preferred: experience with enteral/parenteral nutrition and pediatric to geriatric care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nutrition or Dietetics.
• Within 6 months (180 days) of hire: Washington Dietitian Certification.
• Upon hire: National CDR Registered Dietitian - Commission on Dietetic Registration.
• 1 year Hospital or home care experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop, coordinate and direct all aspects of quality, cost effective, outcome-oriented clinical nutrition care under minimum supervision.
• Assist in the management of nutritional resources.
• Responsible for decisions and judgments affecting patients total nutrition care. Facilitates improvement in patient's nutrition status to reduce complications and lower the risk of harm to the patient.
• Assists the pharmacists in managing the TPN patients. Clinical monitoring of enteral patients.

This position will be supporting our Richland site.

Schedule

Monday to Friday, Day shift

This position is responsible for developing, coordinating and directing all aspects of quality, cost effective, outcome-oriented clinical nutrition care under minimum supervision. Assists in the management of PIPS' nutritional resources. Responsible for decisions and judgments affecting patients total nutrition care. Facilitates improvement in patient's nutrition status to reduce complications and lower the risk of harm to the patient. Assists the pharmacists in managing the TPN patients. Clinical monitoring of enteral patients.
