Job summary

Dartmouth Health offers a role in its nutrition services where you will evaluate, assess, and plan nutrition care to meet patient needs. The position includes opportunities to counsel patients and families, develop care plans, and monitor outcomes within a multidisciplinary team.

You will participate in rounds, discharge planning, and educational programs for patients and staff, with mentoring responsibilities and cross-coverage across care areas as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited program in nutritional sciences (prior to 2024).
• Master’s Degree from an accredited program in nutritional sciences (2024 and after).
• Minimum 2 years’ related experience preferred.

• Conducts education programs for patients, community groups, and staff.
• Precept and mentor new staff or existing staff in clinical specialty area.
• Develops therapeutic relationships with subspecialty care team members to enable planning across a broader patient care spectrum.
• Cross-covers a broader spectrum of patient care areas and subspecialties as needed.
• Performs other duties as required or assigned.

Overview

This position is eligible for a $7500 Sign on/Retention Bonus.

Required Licensure/Certifications

• Current NH Dietitian license required. May require additonal license if providing Telehealth services.
• Current Registration by the Commission on Dietetic Registration.
