Job summary

Providence Health Plan Group is seeking a Clinical Dietitian for their location in San Pedro, CA, on a Per Diem basis. The ideal candidate will provide nutritional care to a diverse range of patients and is required to have a Bachelor's degree in Dietetics or a related field, along with a Registered Dietitian qualification.

Qualifications

Dietitian - Clinical Dietetics at Providence Little Company of Mary Medical Center San Pedro in San Pedro, CA. This position is Per Diem and will work 8-hour, Day shifts.

Additionally, our Rehab Center is nationally ranked by UDSMR and accredited by CARF for outstanding rehabilitation programs.

Under general supervision, oversees and provides nutritional care to hospital inpatients and/or outpatients. Provides patient care to any of the following age groups: premature infants, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, young, middle and older adults.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in food and nutrition, Dietetics or related field.
• Coursework/Training: ADA approved internship, or equivalent educ/experience
• Upon hire: National CDR Registered Dietitian - Commission on Dietetic Registration

Preferred Qualifications

• 1 year Dietetics experience in a hospital setting.
• Experience in computers and handheld computers.
• Spanish Speaking
