Evergreen SNF Healthcare, LLC is seeking a Registered Dietitian to complete nutritional reviews for residents and coordinate nutrition care with the Dietary Supervisor. The role includes developing dietary care plans, providing counseling, and ensuring compliance with nutrition standards.
The position requires RD eligibility, a nutrition/dietetics degree, and preferred one year of clinical healthcare experience or internship.
Complete nutritional initial, quarterly, annual and significant change reviews on residents according to federal and state guidelines. Assist in coordination of nutrition care services with Dietary Supervisor. Complete nutritional reviews monthly on high risk residents (significant weight loss/gain, pressure ulcer, hemodialysis, and tube fed).
Assists with the overall supervision and management of the dietary staff.
Registered Dietitian or completion of approved Bachelor Degree with major studies in Food and Nutrition and eligible for the RD Exam. Preferable one-year experience in a clinical health care setting or completion of an accredited internship.
Ability to read technical procedures. Ability to read and comprehend policy and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers and employees.
Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situations.
