Job summary

CPH in Soldotna, AK is hiring an Inpatient Registered Dietitian to plan, coordinate and participate in the nutritional care of our in-patient population. The role requires collaboration with food service, nursing and medical staff to ensure patient needs and physician orders are understood and followed.

The position may cover outpatient dietitian duties as needed. We offer a $10,000 bonus for a one-year commitment or $25,000 for two years, plus relocation assistance to Alaska.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nutrition required.
• Successful completion of dietetic internship required.
• Alaska licensure required at hire.
• At least 1 year of related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and participate in inpatient nutritional care.
• Coordinate with food service, nursing and medical staff.
• Cover outpatient dietitian duties as needed.
• Participate in quality improvement and Joint Commission activities.

POSITION SUMMARY: The Inpatient Registered Dietitian plans, coordinates and participates in the nutritional care process of the in-patient population, assuring that quality nutritional care is provided. The Registered Dietitian will coordinate with food service staff, nursing and medical staff in an effort to ensure a clear understanding of patient needs is achieved and that diet-related physician orders are followed. This position will cover for the outpatient dietitian as needed. This position will participate in quality improvement programs concerning clinical services. This position will participate in the Joint Commission process, yearly reviewing standards and scoring guidelines with the Chief Nursing Officer.

REQUIREMENTS.

• Bachelor’s degree in nutrition.
• Successful completion of dietetic internship;
• Alaska licensure required at time of hire.
• Prefer a minimum of one year work related experience.
