Dietitian - Providence Infusion and Pharmacy Services

Schedule- Full Time/ Days with a weekend and holiday rotation

Supports South Sound, Tacoma/Olympia and surrounding area

This position is responsible for developing, coordinating and directing all aspects of quality, cost effective, outcome-oriented clinical nutrition care under minimum supervision. Assists in the management of PIPS' nutritional resources. Responsible for decisions and judgments affecting patients total nutrition care. Facilitates improvement in patient's nutrition status to reduce complications and lower the risk of harm to the patient. Assists the pharmacists in managing the TPN patients. Clinical monitoring of enteral patients.

Required qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Nutrition or Dietetics.

within 6 months (180 days) of hire: Washington Dietitian Certification OR within 6 months (180 days) of hire: Washington Nutritionist Certification.

upon hire: National CDR Registered Dietitian - Commission on Dietetic Registration.

1 year Hospital or home care experience.

Preferred qualifications:

Experience in enteral/parenteral nutrition.

Pediatric, adult and geriatric experience.

Development of nutrition related forms and policies and procedures.

Pay Range: $ 35.06 - $ 54.43

The amounts listed are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
