Roscoe Rehabilitation & Nursing Center is seeking a part-time Dietitian to deliver individualized nutritional care for residents. The role involves assessments, care planning, and interdisciplinary collaboration to support health and quality of life.

Qualifications

• Ten full-time equivalent years of education and supervised experience (1,600 hours of experience equals one year of credit for every 30 semester hours of education).
• Bachelor's program experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Complete and oversee nutritional assessments for newly admitted residents and develop individualized nutrition care plans.
• Monitor resident weights, meal intake, supplements, hydration status, laboratory values, and therapeutic diet needs.
• Collaborate with the Food Service Director, Diet Technician, nursing staff, therapists, and other disciplines to ensure appropriate nutritional care.
• Provide nutrition counseling and education to residents, families, and facility staff.
• Review menus, recipes, dietary consistencies, and nourishment programs to ensure nutritional adequacy and regulatory compliance.
• Participate in care plan meetings, interdisciplinary meetings, and quality improvement initiatives.
• Maintain required documentation, transfer/discharge summaries, and nutrition-related records.
• Assist with policy review, dietary education programs, and maintaining the facility diet manual.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum experience requirement: Ten full-time equivalent years of education and supervised experience (1,600 hours of experience equals one year of credit for every 30 semester hours of education); completion of Bachelor's program experience requirements preferred
• Strong knowledge of nutritional assessment, care planning, hydration management, therapeutic diets, and food service operations
• Excellent communication, education, and interdisciplinary collaboration skills
• Strong organizational, leadership, and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to maintain regulatory compliance, confidentiality, and professional standards
