Job summary

Heritage Ministries is looking for a dedicated Dietitian to enhance the quality of life for our residents by providing expert nutritional advice and ensuring effective food service operations. As part of our growth, you will work to meet federal, state, and local dietary compliance while documenting and assessing nutritional needs.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree and is certified or license eligible as a Dietitian.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed as a certified Dietitian or license eligible.
• Experience in long term care preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assess and document the nutritional need of each resident.
• Serve as Attached Supervisor for administrative dietary department personnel.
• Review care plan notes quarterly to assess dietary goals.
• Assist in the development and implementation of departmental policies.
• Review lab reports and make necessary changes in meal patterns.

• Base Pay $28.00 - $32.00 / Hour

Heritage Ministries is in growth mode and currently seeking a Dietitian to join our team. The Dietitian will be responsible for providing expert advice to facility staff to establish and maintain systems that are effective and efficient to operate the dietary department. Provide food service to residents in a cost effective, efficient manner that safely meets the residents’ needs in compliance with federal, state, and local requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Assesses and documents the nutritional need of each resident upon admission, annually and on change of condition.
• May serves as Attached Supervisor for administrative dietary department personnel. Participates and/or assists as necessary in team interviews, employee performance reviews, disciplinary conferences and exit interviews as needed in a timely fashion.
• Review care plan notes quarterly or as needed to assess if dietary goals are being met.
• May assist in the development and implementation of departmental policies and procedures.
• Reviews lab reports and makes any necessary changes in meal patterns, nourishments, etc.

Qualifications:

• Completion of a Bachelors degree with major studies in food and nutritional or institutional management from an accredited college or university.
• Must by licensed as a certified Dietitian or license eligible. New graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Experience in long term care preferred, but not required.
