Job summary

Caring Place Healthcare Group is seeking a dedicated Dietetic Technician to join our resident-centered care team at Sanctuary Pointe, a Caring Place Healthcare Group Facility in Cincinnati, OH.

The role supports the Dietitian by identifying residents' dietary needs, maintains dietary assessments and care plans, and ensures compliance with HIPAA and infection-control guidelines. Prior long-term care experience and a valid DTR are preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited college or university with a major in food or nutrition.
• Current Registered Dietetic Technician (DTR) credential.
• One year of long-term care experience preferred.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Dietitian in identifying residents’ dietary needs and implementing dietary programs.
• Communicate residents’ nutritional and therapeutic dietary needs with families, staff, and healthcare professionals.
• Complete and maintain dietary assessments, care plans, and progress notes in accordance with regulations.
• Promote a calm, supportive, and caring environment for residents and staff.
• Follow infection control, safety, sanitation, and HIPAA guidelines.
