MemorialCare Medical Group in Lakewood, CA is seeking an experienced Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for a full-time outpatient practice in Ob/Gyn and Family Medicine.

The role requires managing prenatal care, contraceptive implants, history and physicals, and interpreting tests using the Epic EMR. Competitive base salary with incentives and robust benefits are offered.

Competenze

• Licensed NP or PA in California with furnishing authority.
• NPI and DEA numbers active.
• Board-certified in Women’s Health preferred.
• BLS certification current.
• Graduation from accredited NP/PA program.

• Perform comprehensive and problem-focused histories and physical examinations.
• Provide prenatal care and manage obstetric patients.
• Impelant contraception services (e.g., IUD placement, Nexplanon).

Base Salary Range*:$126,000 to $158,000

*The salary range above is an estimated annual base salary for a full-time position. Your Total Rewards would include a base salary plus performance-based incentives and other valuable benefits. Our compensation models utilize fair market value data specific to your specialty.

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join MemorialCare’s growing Ob/Gyn and Family Medicine practice in Lakewood, CA.

Practice Information & Position Details

• Employment opportunity with MemorialCare Medical Group
• 100% Outpatient
• Hours of operation:Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
• No after hours call
• Average 15 to 21 patients per day
• EMR: Epic
• Perform comprehensive and problem-focused histories and physical examinations
• Implant contraception (e.g., IUD placement, Nexplanon, etc.)
• See new OB patients. Provide prenatal care throughout all stages of pregnancy.
• Interpret laboratory and diagnostic tests

Experience

• 1+ year of experience in Women’s Health or related field as a NP or PA; 3+ years preferred.
• 1+ year of experience in Obstetrics strongly preferred
• Experience with Epic EMR system highly preferred

Education & Licensure

• California Nurse Practitioner and Furnishing licensure or California Physician Assistant license
• Current, active, unrestricted licensure as an NP or PA
• Successful completion of accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
• Board certification in Women’s Health (Preferred)
• Current BLS
• NPI and DEA
