UNC Health is seeking a Dietetic Assistant – Trayline and Patient Meal Delivery to support patient nutrition services in the UNC Medical Center. The role involves delivering meals, assisting with tray preparation, and ensuring sanitary standards.

You will coordinate with the Nutrition and Food Services team to maintain patient satisfaction and meal accuracy. This full-time position requires approximately 40 hours per week with a 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM schedule.

Formación

• One year of experience with food service or customer service experience OR hospital clinical dietetics.
• No specific degree required if other qualifications are met.
• Position involves a highly active role requiring walking and mobility for the majority of the day.

Responsabilidades

• Delivers food trays, nourishments, and snacks to patients.
• Assists with tray preparation during meal service hours.
• Adheres to safety, sanitation, health, and privacy standards.
• Carries items from storeroom to workstations and storage areas.
• Communicates with patients regarding meal tickets and accuracy.
• Maintains compliance with health and training standards.
• Uses PPE and hand hygiene to prevent contamination.
• Maintains clean work areas and equipment.
• Aids in dirty tray removal and retrieval.
• Performs quality assurance activities such as satisfaction surveys.
• Interacts professionally with patients, visitors, and staff.
