Job summary

ProHealth Care is seeking a Dietetic Assistant to support nutritional care for patients. You will work with EMR and room service systems to obtain the latest diet information and ensure accuracy of diet orders.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED preferred.
• 2-4 years of relevant work experience.
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Windows and Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Works with EMR and room service system to get the latest diet information for each patient.
• Monitors EMR to ensure allergy information is entered.
• Processes new diets and changes in a timely manner.
• Answers phone calls/voicemails to assist callers accurately.
• Guides patients on menu selection considering dietary restrictions.
• Tracks carbohydrate counts and sodium levels per dietary restrictions.
• Ensures accuracy of room trays by reading back selections.
