Job summary

Biotics Research Corporation in Texas is seeking a Product Development Specialist to drive the formulation and development of dietary supplements from concept through market launch, ensuring FDA regulations and GMP standards are met.

You will lead cross-functional collaboration with QA/QC, manufacturing, and packaging, perform ingredient research, validate ingredients, and work with vendors to enhance product quality and cost efficiency.

Qualifications

• Experience developing dietary supplement formulations.
• Familiarity with FDA regulations and GMP standards.
• Ability to coordinate cross-functional teams across QA/QC, manufacturing, and packaging.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize dietary supplement formulations, including ingredient selection, cost analysis, and pricing strategies aligned with nutraceutical industry standards
• Coordinate product development processes, including lab-scale batching, pilot production, and cross-functional collaboration with QA/QC, manufacturing, and packaging teams
• Ensure FDA compliance and GMP adherence by managing labeling requirements, ingredient validation, and regulatory documentation for dietary supplements
• Conduct ingredient research for safety, efficacy, and quality, supporting raw material qualification and product specification development
• Partner with internal teams and external vendors to enhance product quality, manufacturing efficiency, and consumer appeal
