Responsibilities

• Food Service Management: Overseeing food service operations, including meal preparation, food handling, storage, and cleanliness, ensuring procedures meet health and safety regulations.
• Menu Planning: Assist in the preparation and implementation of monthly menus, ensuring nutritional needs of residents are met.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure operations comply with state, federal, and local regulations, including DPI mandates.
• Personnel Supervision: Supervise and evaluate food service staff, ensuring safety and service standards.
• Kitchen Management: Maintain cleanliness and storage of kitchen equipment, utensils, and food items; ensure health guidelines compliance.
• Substitute Management: Arrange for substitutes and coverage when staff are absent.
• Food Procurement: Manage purchasing to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of food.
• Staff Coordination: Coordinate use of kitchen facilities and equipment for events or activities.
• Training & Development: Provide training and support to staff on quality of food and service.

Pay Range: $21.00 - $26.00 per hour

• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure food service operations comply with all state, federal, and local regulations, including Department of Public Instruction (DPI) mandates.

• Personnel Supervision: Supervise and evaluate food service staff, ensuring they adhere to safety, cleanliness, and service standards.

• Kitchen Management: Maintain cleanliness and proper storage of all kitchen equipment, utensils, and food items; ensure compliance with health department guidelines.

• Substitute Management: Arrange for substitutes and coverage when food service personnel are absent.

• Food Procurement: Manage food purchasing, ensuring that necessary food commodities are ordered and delivered in a timely and cost-effective manner.
