Job summary

LECOM Nursing and Rehabilitation in Erie, PA is seeking a Full-Time Dietary Supervisor to assist the Dietary Manager with hiring, scheduling, cost controls, menu development, and record keeping.

You will prepare food and beverages, ensure sanitation, supervise staff, maintain confidentiality, and cross-train in housekeeping and personal care as needed; duties may be expanded by management.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
• At least 2 years experience in Food Service or related field.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Dietary Manager in hiring, scheduling, cost controls, item specifications, menu development, sanitation standards, and record keeping.
• Prepare food and drink items using standard formulas or following directions.
• Explain and guide residents regarding costs and contents of selections and provide alternatives.
• Puts away, replenishes, and rotates stock to ensure older items are used first.
• Maintain health guidelines and sanitation policies in dining areas.
• Must perform as a Universal Worker cross-trained in housekeeping and personal care functions.
• Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor or management.
