Job summary

Live Well Healthcare Solutions seeks an Assistant Dietary Manager to work in a Skilled Nursing Facility. You will support the Dietary Manager in overseeing daily food-service operations, ensuring high standards of food quality, safety, and regulatory compliance while leading the dietary team.

Key duties include staff recruitment and training, scheduling, collaboration with facility staff and vendors, HACCP-based food safety, and assisting with dietary plans and MDS sections.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; undergraduate education preferred but not required.
• Experience in healthcare food service or supervisory roles is highly desired.
• Knowledge of HACCP and regulatory standards is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Assist in recruiting, training, coaching, and supervising dietary staff to maintain a positive work environment.
• Help develop and manage staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage for all shifts.
• Collaborate with facility staff, physicians, consultants, and vendors to meet resident needs and expectations.
• Maintain records on personnel, inventory, and equipment; support regulatory compliance.
• Oversee food quality, safety, and service timing to meet therapeutic diet requirements.
• Support the Dietary Manager and Registered Dietitian in dietary planning and MDS sections.
• Ensure proper sanitation and food safety practices across the department.
