Job summary

Live Well Healthcare Solutions seeks a Certified Dietary Manager to oversee the food-service department in a Skilled Nursing Facility. You will lead daily operations, ensure food safety, plan menus, and coordinate with RDs and the IDT to meet dietary needs.

Responsibilities include staffing, budgeting, and ensuring compliance with federal/state regulations while delivering high-quality meals and service to residents.

Qualifications

• Graduate of Dietary Manager’s Course (2-yr or 4-yr food-service program)
• Successful completion of Certified Dietary Manager exam (CDM)
• Two years’ experience in food-service management
• Prior healthcare food-service experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations of the food-service department according to facility policy and regulations
• Recruit, interview, hire, train, coach, evaluate and discipline staff
• Develop staff schedules and manage budgets for cost-effectiveness
• Ensure food safety, HACCP compliance, and sanitation standards
• Coordinate with RD/IDT to plan client diets and nutrition plans
