Job summary

SUN MAR HEALTH CARE in Riverside, California is seeking an experienced Dietary Supervisor to lead the Food Services department on a full-time basis. You will develop and coordinate training, manage diet changes, and work with Nursing and other departments to deliver quality meals and compassionate care for our guests.

The role requires at least 6 months in a dietary position, the ability to make independent decisions, and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide written and oral reports to the Dietitian and/or Administrator regarding operation of the Food Services Department.
• Process diet changes and new diets as received from nursing services.

We are looking for an experience Dietary Supervisor - Full Time.

As Supervisor of Food Services, you are delegated the administrative authority, responsibility, and accountability necessary for carrying out your assigned duties.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Development of and participate in the planning, conducting, and scheduling of timely in-service training classes that provide instructions on 'how to do the job,' and that ensure a well-educated Food Services Department.
• Coordinating food services and activities with other related departments (i.e., Nursing, Environmental, Activity and Social Services, etc.).
• Written and oral reports/recommendations to the Dietitian and/or Administrator as necessary/required concerning the operation of the Food Services Department.
• Process diet changes and new diets as received from nursing services.
