Dietary Supervisor page is loaded## Dietary Supervisorlocations: 2500-Cape Coral Homestime type: Full timeposted on: Posted Todayjob requisition id: R-408**Job Description:**Purpose:To oversee the administration and coordination of nutritional services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities to enable them to maintain optimal health and wellbeing.Qualifications:* Must successfully complete the required pre-employment Background and Drug Screenings* Must possess a valid Driver's License which meets company standards for approved driver status* At least two years of supervisory experience preferred* Must possess basic computer skills* Experience working with people with intellectual/developmental disabilities is preferred* Food service experience in healthcare setting is preferredEssential Functions:* Interview, hire, train, and supervise dietary department employees (applying Sunrise tools/ resources)* Schedule and monitor employee hours (payroll) and daily responsibilities* Monitor adherence to department standards and complete annual performance evaluations* Track and order food, beverages, and supplies based on necessary par levels and emergency supplies* Oversee department food preparation, portions, food presentation & accuracy of textures as prescribed* Inspect and monitor supplies, daily preparation/temperature records, equipment, and work areas* Ensure employees comply with all health and food safety standards* Assist in food preparation and delivery process of meals as needed* Report for Department-related emergencies with on-call status* Organize and support preparation for special functions and assist in annual fiscal inventory process* Assist Registered Dietitian in updating and revising cycle menus* Maintain communication lines with other interdisciplinary departments on any dietary or department changes* Maintain Dietary staff up to date on mandatory training and conduct department related meetings as needed* Performs all other duties as assignedThis position will remain open until filled.
