Job summary

Sunrise in Florida is seeking Direct Support Pro Lead to provide supervision and support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, helping them live valued lives in the community. The role requires following individual plans, documenting progress, and maintaining health and safety standards.

You will assist with scheduling, transportation, and activities, while ensuring regulatory compliance and a positive, empowering environment.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid Driver's License with endorsements and have a minimum of 3 years of driving experience.
• Must possess basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Assists Residential Program Director in providing supervision to meet the needs and goals of the individuals according to their plans.
• Ensures each individual’s training, behavior and support programs are implemented and documented in accordance with regulatory requirements.
• Ensures that the health, safety and well-being of the individuals are protected at all times.
• Provides a positive, reinforcing environment that promotes independence and choice.
• Assists Residential Program Director with scheduling staff, doctors’ appointments, vehicle maintenance and grocery shopping as assigned.
• Provides assistance with monitoring for ongoing compliance with agency directives, licensing standards and policies and procedures.
