Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required with dietary management coursework preferred.
• Experience supervising dietary or food service staff is expected.
• CDM certification is preferred or willingness to obtain.
• Familiarity with therapeutic diets and regulatory compliance is important.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily dietary department operations and supervision.
• Lead and coach cooks, aides, and service staff during shifts.
• Ensure meals follow physician orders and therapeutic diets.
• Maintain food quality, safety, and sanitation standards.
• Support resident-centered meal service and satisfaction.
• Assist with inventory, purchasing, and waste reduction.
• Document production and sanitation logs; assist audits.
• Promote safety and HIPAA-compliant practices.
