Responsibilities

• Direct the dietary department and programs.
• Coordinate services with Nursing, Housekeeping, Social Services.
• Develop and maintain dietary policies and procedures.
• Assist in assessing residents' dietary needs.
• Inspect storage and supply controls.
• Participate in facility surveys and plan corrections.
• Plan budgets for food, equipment, and labor.
• Ensure compliance with physician orders for diets.
• Train new dietary staff and schedule assignments.
• Maintain resident diet history records.
