Job summary

Sunrise Community, Inc. is seeking a Nutrition Services Supervisor in Tallahassee to oversee dietary department operations. You will hire, train, and supervise staff, schedule hours, and ensure meal textures and portioning meet prescribed standards.

Responsibilities include ordering, inventory, safety compliance, and collaboration with other departments. A valid driver’s license and a background check are required; healthcare food service experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid Driver's License with endorsements and a minimum of 3 years driving experience.
• Two years of supervisory experience preferred.
• Experience working with people with intellectual/developmental disabilities preferred.
• Food service experience in healthcare setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Interview, hire, train, and supervise dietary department employees.
• Schedule and monitor employee hours and daily responsibilities.
• Monitor adherence to department standards and complete annual evaluations.
• Track and order food, beverages, and supplies based on par levels.
• Oversee department food preparation, portions, and textures as prescribed.
• Inspect and monitor supplies, records, equipment and work areas.
• Ensure compliance with health and food safety standards.
• Assist in food preparation and delivery of meals as needed.
• Maintain communication with other departments on dietary changes.
