Apploi is seeking an Assistant Dietary Manager to partner with the facility administrator to plan, organize, develop and direct the overall production of the Dietary Department in compliance with federal, state and local regulations, ensuring daily access to quality nutritional services.

You will supervise dietary staff, assist with menu planning, food ordering, FIFO storage, sanitation, and routine rounds, and coordinate diet changes with nursing as needed.

Qualifications

• Must have at least a high school diploma.
• Serve Safe Sanitation certification (8 hour class) is required.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in a hospital or nursing care facility.
• Willingness to obtain Certified Food Manager certification after the first year.

Responsabilités

• Plan, develop, organize and direct the dietary staff in food production.
• Assist in ordering and proper storage of food (FIFO) while managing budget.
• Inspect storage rooms and sanitation areas to ensure cleanliness and safety.
• Maintain records of resident food preferences as needed.
• Review and enforce dietary department policies on sanitation and equipment upkeep.
• Assist with diet changes and printing new tickets as directed by nursing.
