Job summary

Apploi is seeking a dietary services manager to plan, organize, and direct daily operations of the dietary department in a hospital/skilled nursing setting in Washington Township, Ohio. The role ensures quality nutritional services are provided in a clean, safe, and sanitary environment, complying with federal, state, and local standards.

Responsibilities include budgeting, policy development, coordinating with nursing and other departments, and maintaining regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year supervisory experience in a hospital or skilled nursing facility.
• Prefer certification as Food Service Manager.
• Training in cost control, food management, and diet therapy.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, organize, implement, evaluate and manage daily operations of the dietary department.
• Coordinate dietary services with nursing, activities, housekeeping and other departments.
• Develop and maintain written dietary policies and procedures.
• Perform administrative duties to control equipment and supplies.
• Assist in preparing and planning the dietary department budget and submit for review.
• Review and develop a plan of correction for dietary deficiencies noted during surveys.
