Job summary

The Horsham Clinic is seeking an Assistant Manager of Dietary/Food Services to join our team of great people. You will assist the Dietary Manager in coordinating all activities of the Dietary Services Department, ensuring nutritious meals for patients and staff and maintaining a clean, sanitary environment.

Responsibilities include managing schedules, payroll, and interviewing for dietary staff, monitoring inventories and purchasing, and coordinating with nursing and other departments to support

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Degree in Food Services Technology/Management or related field preferred.
• Registered Dietitian or Certified Dietary Manager a plus.
• Five years of demonstrated food service experience with at least two years in a management role in a hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Assist Dietary Manager in coordinating all activities of the Dietary Services Department.
• Provide nutritious meals for patients and staff.
• Maintain an organized and sanitary environment.
• Monitor supply inventories and purchasing of food and supplies as required.
• Ensure proper storage of food and supplies.
• Assist with scheduling, payroll, disciplinary actions and interviewing for all Dietary staff.
• Coordinate with nursing, clinical, DPO and other departments.
