Horsham Center for Jewish Life in Montgomery County, PA is seeking a dependable Part-Time Dietary Aide to support our Food Services team in preparing, serving, and delivering meals to residents.
You will follow safety procedures, assist with dining setup and cleanup, and work closely with dietary and nursing staff to provide friendly, respectful meals that meet residents' dietary needs.

We are currently seeking a dependable and compassionate Part-Time Dietary Aide to join our Food Services team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with others and takes pride in helping create a positive dining experience for our residents.
As a Dietary Aide, you will play an important role in supporting our dietary team and ensuring meals are prepared, served, and delivered safely and efficiently.
Assist with meal preparation, plating, serving, and delivery to residents.
Set up and clean dining areas before and after meals.
Assist with dishwashing, cleaning, and maintaining kitchen areas.
Follow proper food safety, sanitation, and infection control procedures.
Prepare and distribute beverages, snacks, and other food items as directed.
Assist with stocking and organizing food, supplies, and kitchen equipment.
Follow residents' dietary needs, preferences, and meal instructions.
Communicate resident concerns or meal-related issues to the appropriate staff.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Work cooperatively with the dietary and nursing teams to provide excellent service to residents.
Previous dietary, food service, restaurant, healthcare, or long-term care experience preferred, but not required.
Dependable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
Ability to work well with residents, families, and team members.
Friendly, patient, and respectful approach to working with seniors.
Ability to follow directions and established food safety procedures.
Strong attention to cleanliness and detail.
Ability to work as part of a team in a busy environment.
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull food service supplies and equipment as needed.
Ability to bend, reach, and move throughout the kitchen and dining areas.
Ability to maintain a safe and sanitary work environment.
