Job summary

Woodside Senior Communities is seeking a Dietary Server for part-time or full-time roles. You will assist in meal preparation, serving, tray line assembly, and dining room upkeep to ensure resident comfort and safety.

You will help with dishwashing, sanitizing, stock management, and delivering meals to dining rooms while supporting HIPAA privacy and following all regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Previous food service experience or classes as well as some knowledge of therapeutic diets, food safety, and sanitation preferred
• Must have the ability to plan and organize work effectively

Responsibilities

• Prepares and serves meals and beverages according to prepared menus, prescribed diets of residents, or dietary requests
• Assists with prep work throughout the course of the day and assists the Cook as needed
• Transports and retrieves dietary carts to unit dining rooms
• Sets up each dining room before each meal and cleans up after each meal
• Makes snacks and sandwiches for stocking fridges in nursing stations
• Stocks and cleans coffee bars
• Uses dishwasher and garbage disposal and cleans and sanitizes work area
• Cleans all refrigerators and stocks supplies in the dining room including both food and cleaning supplies
• Monitors the kitchen and dining rooms for any needed supplies and restocks when necessary
• Stocks supplements
• Follows posted cleaning schedule
• Assists with the setup and teardown/cleanup from all functions/parties
• Delivers meal service to the Oaks dining room during breakfast and lunch meals
• Supports the Mission, Vision, and values of Woodside Senior Communities
• Is knowledgeable of resident rights and ensures an atmosphere which allows for the privacy, dignity, and well-being of all residents/tenants in a safe, secure environment
• Observes care in ensuring the confidentiality of all data, including resident, employee, and operations data as required by HIPAA/HITECH regulations
• Abides by all applicable statutes and regulations through compliance with the Woodside Corporate Compliance and Ethics Program
• Completes requirements for in-service training
• Completes other tasks and duties as assigned

Dietary Server, (Non-Exempt) Hours: Part-Time or Full-Time Positions Available

POSITION SUMMARY:
