Job summary

Avantara Watertown, part of Legacy Healthcare, is seeking a Dietary Manager to lead our dietary team in delivering high-quality, nutritious meals to residents. You will plan, direct, and oversee all aspects of the Dietary Department, ensuring cleanliness and safety standards.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent, a food sanitation certificate, and South Dakota Dietary Manager Certification (CDM).

Responsibilities

As a Dietary Manager you will take charge of the Dietary Department. Your work will ensure our residents receive the high standard of food quality they have grown to expect at Avantara Watertown by planning and directing all aspects of the Dietary Department, supervising Dietary Staff, ensuring department cleanliness and ensuring residents receive meals that meet their nutritional needs. Our residents will depend on your knowledge, skills, and attention to detail to ensure they receive a pleasant and safe dining experience.

To be eligible for consideration applicants should have:

As a minimum, a high school diploma or equivalent, food sanitation certification, and State of South Dakota Dietary Manager Certification (C.D.M). Prior Dietary Manager experience and certification are preferable but we are willing to invest in the right candidate!
