Job summary

Montello Care Center in Montello, Wisconsin seeks a full-time Dietary Manager to lead meal service and nutritional support for residents, ensuring quality care and regulatory compliance across federal, state, and local guidelines.

You will implement a robust quality assurance program to certify therapeutic nutrition requirements are met with appealing meals, while managing sanitation, safety, and cost controls in a not-for-profit senior care setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• CDM certification or enrollment in approved CDM course.
• Sanitation certification required.
• Valid WI driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Direct, implement and supervise all meal service and nutritional support for residents.
• Adhere to applicable federal, state and local regulations and corporate policies.
• Develop and maintain a quality assurance program for therapeutic nutrition.
• Ensure sanitation, safety and cost control in all food service activities.

Montello Care Center has a unique full-time opportunity for a long-term care Dietary Manager. We are located in Montello, Wisconsin and have a reputation for providing quality care to seniors in Marquette County and surrounding communities.

As the Dietary Manager, you are responsible for the direction, implementation and supervision of all meal service and nutritional support for residents while following applicable federal, state and local regulations, as well as corporate policies and procedures. This position is also responsible for providing a quality assurance program that certifies therapeutic nutritional requirements are met with a variety of flavorful meals, snacks and supplements, while sanitation, safety and cost control are maintained.

This position is Job Requirements/Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Accreditations as a Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) or currently enrolled in approved CDM course and will be eligible to write CDM exam at completion of course work.
• Sanitation certification required
• Valid WI Drivers License
• Strong desire to work with the elderly
• Must be English literate and possess strong written and verbal communication skills

Qualifications Preferred

• Previous experience in long term care Management experience in food service
• Supervisory experience
