We are seeking a dedicated Dietary Manager to lead our dining services at a long-term care facility. This role offers a pay rate of $60,000 - $65,000 per year.

Role Overview

As a Food Service Director / Dining Services Manager, you will oversee the food service program, ensuring high standards of quality, safety, and customer satisfaction. You will lead a team, manage inventory, and ensure compliance with all regulations and policies.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support the food service team to meet quality and safety standards.
• Maintain accurate records of finances, supplies, and personnel using HCSG software.
• Conduct staff training and quality control; perform various roles as needed.
• Communicate effectively with clients, staff, and management.
• Ensure safety protocols, sanitation, and infection control procedures are followed.
• Maintain punctuality, attendance, and professionalism.
• Represent HCSG positively in all interactions.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher in food service management or related field preferred.
• Minimum two years of experience in food production/service and supervision preferred.
• Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) preferred; Food Protection Manager certification required within 14 days of hire.
• Food Service Manager and LTC-FSM certifications required within 60 days.
• Strong communication skills and a positive attitude.
• Ability to lift/carry and stand for extended periods.
• Basic computer skills and ability to maintain records.
• Residency within the service area required.
