Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Oversee all operations of the Dietary Department.
• Plan menus and food service programs with residents and team members.
• Monitor stock levels of food, supplies and equipment and order as needed.
• Monitor residents' condition changes and report incidents.
• Ensure compliance with dietary procedures, related laws, regulations and guidelines for nursing home operations.

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A DIETARY MANAGER

As a Dietary Manager, you play a vital role in our clinic. Without you, we would not be able to fulfill our purpose! You assume overall responsibility for all operations of the Dietary Department. You work with residents and other team members to plan menus and food service programs. You also monitor the stock level of food, supplies, and equipment and order as needed.

With a close eye for detail, you monitor for residents' condition changes, accidents and incidents. You take great care to report any of these. You live up to the trust of those in your care by following dietary procedures, related laws, regulations and guidelines pertaining to nursing home operations. QUALIFICATIONS FOR DIETARY MANAGER

• Current CDM certification preferred.
