Job summary

Arc at Hickory Point is seeking a Dietary Manager to partner with the Dietitian and direct the Dietary Department, ensuring quality nutritional services daily and compliance with federal, state, and local standards.

You will supervise staffing, budgeting, and equipment, maintain documentation, and ensure the department is clean, safe, and sanitary; contribute to patient care plans and service excellence in a hospital-like setting.

Qualifications

• Must possess a high school diploma.
• Food Service Sanitation Manager Certification.
• Minimum 3 years supervisory experience in a hospital, nursing facility, or related medical facility.
• At least 1 year of experience as a Dietary Manager preferred.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the Dietitian to plan, develop, budget, organize, implement, evaluate, manage, and direct the Dietary Department, its programs, and activities in accordance with patients care plans, guidelines, regulations, and safety standards.
• Ensure staffing, supplies, and equipment are satisfactorily maintained and all documentation filed in accordance with established policies and procedures.

Job Summary:

The Dietary Manager is responsible for partnering with the Dietitian to plan, organize, develop, and direct the overall operation of the Dietary Department in accordance with current, federal, state, and local standards, guidelines and regulations governing our facility, to assure that quality nutritional services are provided daily and that the Dietary Department is maintained in a clean, safe, and sanitary manner.
