Job summary

Arcadia Care is seeking a Dietary Manager to partner with the Dietitian to plan, organize, develop, and direct the overall operation of the Dietary Department in accordance with federal, state, and local standards, ensuring quality nutritional services are provided daily and the department remains clean, safe, and sanitary.

Responsibilities include staffing, budgeting, equipment maintenance, and documentation per policies.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma.
• Food Service Sanitation Manager Certification required.
• Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience in a hospital, nursing facility or related medical setting.
• 1+ year of experience as a Dietary Manager preferred.

• Plan, budget, organize, implement, evaluate, manage, and direct the Dietary Department and its programs.
• Ensure staffing, supplies, equipment, and documentation meet policies, procedures, and safety standards.

Job Summary:

The Dietary Manager is responsible for partnering with the Dietitian to plan, organize, develop, and direct the overall operation of the Dietary Department in accordance with current, federal, state, and local standards, guidelines and regulations governing our facility, to assure that quality nutritional services are provided daily and that the Dietary Department is maintained in a clean, safe, and sanitary manner.

Essential Duties:

• Partnering with the Dietician to plan, develop, budget, organize, implement, evaluate, manage, and direct the Dietary Department, its programs, and activities in accordance with patients care plans, guidelines, regulations, and safety standards.


• Ensure staffing, supplies, and equipment are satisfactorily maintained and all documentation filed in accordance with established policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

• Must possess, as a minimum, a high school diploma.


• Must possess Food Service Sanitation Manager Certification.


• Must have, as a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a supervisory capacity in a hospital, nursing care facility, or other related medical facility.
