Job summary

Apploi is seeking an Assistant Dietary Manager for a skilled nursing facility in Georgia. This full-time role supports the Dietary Manager with nutrition care, daily food service operations, and staff supervision.

Qualifications include an active CDM/CFPP or enrollment in an approved CDM program, ServSafe certification, and knowledge of CMS/F-Tag requirements. Prior LTC dietary experience is preferred and leadership abilities are essential.

Qualifications

• Active CDM/CFPP credential or currently enrolled in CDM program with completion within 12 months
• Must meet Georgia DCH requirements for dietary services in long-term care facilities
• Current ServSafe Food Manager Certification (or ability to obtain within 90 days)
• Knowledge of therapeutic diets, texture modifications, and long-term care dietary regulations
• Familiarity with CMS survey process and Georgia state dietary compliance standards

Responsibilities

• Assist with nutritional assessments, diet orders, and resident care plan documentation under supervision
• Monitor residents for changes in nutritional status and report concerns
• Maintain MDS dietary sections and ensure documentation accuracy
• Supervise daily meal production, tray assembly, and timely delivery
• Support inventory management, stock rotation, and supply ordering
• Maintain HACCP protocols and proper food safety practices
• Assist with onboarding and training of dietary staff
