Villas of Holly Brook and Reflections Memory Care in Bloomington, IL is seeking a Dietary Director to oversee day-to-day kitchen and dining operations within a memory care community. You will manage staff, budgets, and menus while ensuring high resident satisfaction and adherence to health standards.

The role requires strong organizational skills, a background in dietary services, and the ability to coordinate with residents, families, and medical staff.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of dietary experience in hospitality preferred.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Certified Food Protection Manager or equivalent certification as required by state/local law.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for day-to-day operations and staffing for the kitchen and dining venues.
• Manages and supervises Dietary Services staff including scheduling, performance reviews, and hiring.
• Meets residents and families to maintain high satisfaction levels.
• Ensures staff collaborate front and back of house to deliver high-quality meals.
• Assists kitchen staff and may work all stations as needed.
• Maintains budgets for food, supplies, and labor for the Dietary Services dept.
• Develops menus with residents within monthly budgets.
• Ensures equipment is used properly and maintained.
• Maintains inventory of kitchen supplies and purchases from approved vendors.
