Job summary

White Oak Manor York is seeking a Dietary Director to lead the food service team in a long-term care setting. The role requires CDM/CFPP preferred, and an associate’s degree in food service or related field with healthcare experience.

You will oversee staff, menus, therapeutic diets, budgets, and compliance, while supporting clinical nutrition needs in a resident-centered environment.

Qualifications

• CDM or CFPP preferred; healthcare food service experience a must.
• Associate's degree or higher in food service, nutrition, or related field.
• Experience managing staff, food quality, and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily dietary department operations in compliance with regulations.
• Hire, train, and manage dietary staff while maintaining schedules and performance standards.
• Maintain menus and therapeutic diets; ensure accurate diet orders.
• Monitor meal quality, presentation, and timely service to residents.
• Ensure HACCP sanitation and regulatory compliance across the dept.
• Oversee food handling, storage, and inspection readiness.
• Manage budgets, purchasing, and inventory for the dietary department.
• Collaborate with clinical teams to support resident nutrition needs.
