Job summary

Sitter-Barfoot Veterans Care Center is seeking a Nutrition Service Aide to assist in dining operations and meal delivery for residents. The position requires availability for both AM and PM shifts and potential weekend work as needed.

Working within the SBVCC Culinary Department, you will support residents and help with meal preparation and service. The role emphasizes following prescribed resident diets, assisting with trays and carts, and maintaining cleanliness in the dining and food prep

Qualifications

• Prior experience in food services/nutrition services.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the dining room to support the residents as necessary.
• Prepares food in accordance with prescribed resident diet specifications.
• Deliver meal carts/trays to residents, wash pot and pans, assist in the preparation and the assembly of food trays and waste removal.
