Job summary

Hope Creek Nursing and Rehabilitation Center seeks a skilled Dietary Cook to join our culinary team. You will prepare meals per recipes and dietary guidelines, maintain sanitation, and assist with menu planning and inventory.

You will collaborate with dietary staff to ensure timely meal service and provide excellent resident service. High school diploma or equivalent is required; post-secondary culinary education or experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Post-secondary culinary education or experience preferred.
• Minimum 0 years of experience in a similar role; healthcare food service experience is a plus.
• Ability to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods; manual dexterity and attention to detail are necessary.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals according to standardized recipes and therapeutic dietary guidelines.
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to safety and sanitation standards.
• Assist with menu planning, inventory management, and ordering supplies.
• Collaborate with dietary staff to ensure accurate and timely food service delivery.
• Provide exceptional customer service to residents, families, and staff.
