Job summary

Baptist Health in Boca Raton is seeking a First Cook, Dietary for a full-time shift (12:00 PM–8:30 PM) with rotating weekends. Responsibilities include overseeing patient and guest meal preparation, following standard recipes and HACCP procedures, and ensuring food quality and safety.

Minimum 3 years of healthcare food service experience is preferred; a Food Safety Certification is required within 6 months.

Qualifications

• Knowledge in sanitation and safety of food handling and equipment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Food Safety Certification due within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Oversees preparation and production of food for patient and guest meals.
• Follows standardized recipes and HACCP procedures.
• Ensures quality, quantity, nutrition, appearance, temperature and timeliness of food.
