The Landmark Center in Stuart, Virginia, is seeking a Dietary Cook to join our compassionate kitchen team. You will prepare nutritious meals for residents, supervise dietary functions in the absence of leadership, and contribute to the overall wellbeing of those we serve.

Ideal candidates have a High School diploma or equivalent, some culinary experience, and a strong understanding of portion control, diet needs, and safe food handling practices.

Qualifikationen

• High School diploma preferred or ability to read and write English effectively.
• Previous culinary experience is a plus.
• Proficient in preparing and cooking a variety of foods in larger quantities; knowledge of special diets, seasoning requirements, and proper cooking temperatures.

• Supervise kitchen operations in the absence of the manager.
• Assist in preparing meals and oversee food preparation for residents; ensure meals are visually appealing and meet dietary needs.
• Coordinate tray service, cleanliness, and inventory; maintain organized kitchen and adhere to production plans.
