Job summary

Rollng Hills is seeking a Dietary Cook to join our hospital food services team. You will read menus and recipes, execute cooking assignments, and ensure high-quality, safe meals.

You’ll record temperatures, participate in quality control logs, and help deliver trays to patient rooms in locations such as Cleveland Heights and Parma. Required: a high school diploma or GED, Ohio Level Two PIC Food Protection Certification (or obtain within 90 days), and at least one year of high-volume food

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• PIC food-protection certification or ability to obtain within 90 days.
• Minimum 1 year of high-volume foodservice/production experience.
• Basic food preparation and cooking knowledge.
• Completed culinary certification or coursework preferred.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently reads menus, recipes and schedules and cooks accordingly.
• Follows Ohio safety, sanitation and quality guidelines.
• Records food temperatures and waste in logs as part of quality control.
• Supports efficient operations within the Food Services Department.
• Delivers or retrieves trays to patient rooms as needed (e.g., Cleveland Heights, Parma).
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
