Job summary

Live Well Healthcare Solutions at The Blossoms at Woodland Hills Rehab and Nursing Center seeks a skilled Dietary Cook to join a high-volume nursing facility kitchen. You will prepare meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, plate dishes attractively, and support the Dietary Manager during their absence to ensure smooth meal delivery.

Qualifications

• Experience preparing a variety of meals in a high-volume setting.
• Ability to plate and garnish appealing dishes.
• Maintain strict kitchen sanitation standards and food safety.
• Assist with inventory, stock rotation and menu planning.
• Support Dietary Manager during absences and special events.

Responsibilities

• Accurately prepare, portion, and cook meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner following recipes.
• Plate and garnish cooked items for attractive presentation.
• Liaise with the Dietary Manager during their absence to ensure seamless meal prep.
• Maintain sanitation by cleaning kitchen equipment before and after service.
• Manage inventory, stock rotation, purchasing assistance, and recipe compliance.
• Handle last-minute requests for special events and facility functions.
