Job summary

St. Francis Healthcare Center is seeking a dependable Dietary Cook to join our dietary team. You will prepare nutritious meals for residents, following menus, dietary requirements and safety standards in a fast-paced healthcare kitchen.

Key responsibilities include following recipes, ensuring proper food temperatures, maintaining cleanliness, and collaborating with dietary staff to provide excellent resident service. This is a Full-Time position with growth opportunities within the facility.

Qualifications

• Previous cooking experience required; healthcare or skilled nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare meals according to approved menus and recipes.
• Follow residents' diets and special dietary instructions.
• Ensure meals are served at proper temperatures and quality standards.
• Maintain clean, sanitary kitchen and rotate stock.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
• Assist with meal service and other dietary duties as needed.
