Job summary

AMG Physical Rehabilitation Hospital – Lafayette is seeking a Full-Time Dietary Cook to support patient care in a hospital setting. You will prepare patient and guest trays according to dietary specifications and help with tray line service.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and communicate effectively in English.
• Additional languages are desirable.
• Basic computer knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patient and guest trays in compliance with dietary specifications for all diets.
• Assist with tray line service for patients, employees, and guests.
• Communicate with the Dietary Manager and the Registered Dietician to ensure trays are delivered at appropriate times with the correct diets.
• Clean and sanitize utensils, equipment, and the station after each mealtime.

AMG Physical Rehabilitation Hospital – Lafayette is seeking a Full-Time Dietary Cook to perform assigned duties under the direct supervision of the Dietary Manager in a Hospital setting. This position may possibly become Full Time in the future. Prepares patient and guest trays in compliance with dietary specifications prudent to all diets. Cleans and sanitizes utensils, equipment, and station after each mealtime and as required. Assist with tray line service for patients, employees, and guests. Assures patients receive proper diets as ordered. Communicates with the Dietary Manager and the Registered Dietician on a regular basis to ensure trays are delivered at appropriate times with the appropriate diets.
