Job summary

Acadiana Management Group is seeking a Full-Time Dietary Cook for AMG Physical Rehabilitation Hospital – Lafayette. The role involves preparing patient and guest trays per dietary specifications, maintaining sanitation, and assisting with tray line service in a hospital setting.

Located in Lafayette, LA, at our new facility, the team focuses on patient care and dietary accuracy, with collaboration between the Dietary Manager and Registered Dietitian to ensure meals meet orders and timing demands.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and communicate effectively in English.
• Additional languages are desirable.
• Basic computer knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Prepares patient and guest trays in compliance with dietary specifications.
• Cleans and sanitizes utensils, equipment, and station after each mealtime and as required.
• Assist with tray line service for patients, employees, and guests.
• Assures patients receive proper diets as ordered.
• Communicates with the Dietary Manager and the Registered Dietician on a regular basis to ensure trays are delivered at appropriate times with the appropriate diets.
