PIONEER HEALTHCARE MANAGEMENT is seeking a Cook in a long-term care facility in Northville, MI. The Cook is responsible for preparing meals that meet residents' nutritional needs while maintaining safety and quality.

You will follow menus, portions, and therapeutic diets, work with the dietary team, and ensure sanitation and timely service. Strong reading/writing in English and teamwork are essential.

Formación

• Proven experience as a dietary cook preferred.
• Knowledge of sanitation and safety guidelines preferred.
• Must be able to read, write and understand the English language.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Must have knowledge of elementary math.
• Should have experience in preparing and cooking food in large quantities.
• Current ServSafe certification preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Reviews menus and production logs to determine foods to prepare.
• Prepares food that is palatable and meets therapeutic diet needs and portion control.
• Maintains sanitary preparation and minimizes waste.
• Assists in establishing a food service production line to ensure meals are on time.
• Prepares or supervises snacks and plans for next meal day.
• Reports inventory concerns to the dietary manager.
• Follows sanitation standards and safety regulations.
